About the Author - "The Look Up Girl"
Shane Svorec is a lifelong writer and author who resides in New Jersey, along with her husband, three children,
rescue dogs, and chickens.
Shane has made it her life mission to advocate for those without a voice. Using her many life experiences to connect with others, her writing reaches and touches readers of all ages.
She is highly involved in her community, an active member of her church, a staunch public servant, a member of her local Board of Education, mental health and crisis intervention worker, a perpetual peacemaker, and kindness spreader.
Shane is best known by others as someone who searches for light in dark times.

Writing has always been a cathartic outlet for me and a channel that has allowed me to reach (and connect with) others.
Highly observant, empathetic, and honest with my emotions and the things I see and feel, I use writing to share words of encouragement and positive perspective in confusing and troubling times.

A fearless communicator, a perpetual solution seeker, and a passionate peacemaker, my heart is committed to achieving understanding, improving situations, and bringing about greater awareness and needed kindness.
In my heart, are "pieces" of the people I meet along the way and the places I visit.
